The Words

the words

Last night I was reminded just how much I love to write. About some many things that are really important and about nothing much at all. Growing up, journalling has always been something that I loved to do. I found a book of old poems the other day and I was blown away. I loved to write letters to my Mama, not to mention my boys cards and keepsakes! Words have always been something that I love to write, to learn meanings of and to share.

When it is written, it is always so well thought out and so beautifully put together.

Speaking up and saying how I feel is something that I am really working hard on, stepping into life in a whole new way, setting new boundaries and being so incredibly brave with my life is terrifying and it is also so liberating because even though things have not gone even close to plan, I have a wonderful feeling that it is all coming together to be even more wonderful that I could have planned for.

I was reminded last night that when we are on this journey, particularly on a Hero's Journey, the only way is through. And when we are at the bottom of that journey and it is hard, the knocks and hits are coming thick and fast, it may feel as though it is all falling apart (and it actually is in so many ways!), letting go of the old is never fun or comfortable or nice, BUT it is making change and it is making room for the new. Without that space, there is no room for the new that awaits to enter.

I am not sure who else needs to hear this today but I most certainly do.

Keep going. You are closer than you can realise in this moment. Keep showing up. Keep leaning in. Keep being brave. Keep putting in the work. Keep putting the tickets in the barrel. Keep moving forward. Keep digging deep. Keep believing in your hearts vision ~ please do not give up just before the miracle happens.

Life changes with every new choice we make and every new step we take.

Keep making those new choices and taking those new steps, especially the hard ones, especially the brave ones.

I am coming back to feeling good again after a week of being really unwell with Covid. It was brutal, it was so hard but like all things it passed and now, on the other side, feeling a lot better and a lot more grateful to be able to do all the things that I love, maybe a little break from being able to do it all has reminded me to do more of the things I love.

Like write. Write these beautiful words and learn and love new words.

AI is changing our world at the fastest rate, so many words now are not written by someone, but by a brief. I have always been old school and nothing beats a beautiful journal, a good pen and even just five minutes of quiet to connect inwards and let your heart share. I know it has so much to say.

Keep showing up wherever this finds you, keep shining bright, keep being brave. Your dreams await and you have everything you need to create the life you dream of, one brave and beautiful step at a time.
